I’ve already gushed about my love for Casey and Ben when I posted their engagement session earlier this year so I’ll not ramble too much here but…..man alive I love these two! Their day was personal and heartfelt and just the most perfect reflection of the two of them. Casey and Ben are both from the small Texas town of Center and are high school sweethearts, they were together 7 years when their big day arrived on June 7th ~ a long time coming to be sure! It was an honor not only to document their day but just to be there surrounded by their friends and family as they committed their lives to each other and serving the Lord together, a really neat thing to witness. Casey and Ben, I am so excited for you two and the journey you are starting, thank you for letting us share in your joy ~ it was a beautiful start to what I know will be a beautiful adventure. xo
Casey and Ben both got ready at their respective grandparent’s house (or as southerners say “memaw and papaw’s” house). I loved all the charm and detail, so much history there.
I love when a bride and groom opt for a first look so there is more time for photos, this first look really says it all, no?
This church and pastor held a lot of history for these two, and I think the whole town of Center came out to witness their love ~
I think any reception with a taco truck is a big ol’ WIN!
A sweet favor…
Casey and Ben had yard games set up outside for all to enjoy and the two love birds took each other on in a friendly game of ping pong…
Maybe “friendly” wasn’t the right word to describe this match
Then it was back inside for toasts, dancing, and merriment…
We had a few minutes for some more photos and I’m so glad we did, these are my favorites of the day ~
And then it was time for Mr. & Mrs. Nelson to head to their honeymoon and start their life together as husband and wife! And of course, they lived happily ever after.
